Like many American boys, my dream was to become a professional baseball player. At 22, I reached my goal. By 25, my career was done.
Newly married, I got into B2B sales and found great levels of success. Sales provided a lifestyle I liked and a level of financial success I'd never had. Deep down, I knew I wanted to be my own boss — but the golden handcuffs were tight, and I was comfortable.
"The golden handcuffs were tight. Comfort was the enemy of the life I actually wanted."
In 2022, I decided to start my own business. To say I made every possible mistake is likely an understatement. I suffered mentally, physically, and spiritually — and I didn't like the person I was becoming.
That all changed when I started working with my business coach. I realized: if things were going to change around me, things needed to change within me. It didn't happen overnight, but little by little I made progress.
Coaching was transformational for me. That's why I want to serve others the way I was served — to make a lasting impact.
